When we reached there, I was like Ok .. i think we have to go to that "chao ta" ( burnt) building.
Ok Yes we have to go up there. THE "FURNACE"
the area where the fire fighters, civil defence people practise to prepare themselves for a real fire.
This is "Beautiful Hotel" and this is the "Lily suite".For real. haha. funny names.
and then the fun begins. When everything start blursting into flames, since this is a simulation, we were actually very safe but the flames were unbelievably close to us.
the second pic which seems really blurry is actually a shot of the ceiling. which was totally engulfed in flames. Even with that, there were fire coming from the side of the room. We truly felt like we were being roasted alive.
We also went to a room where we were "SMOKED", ok we had to show that we were able to cope in a smoky situation and remain calm and get our way out by ourselves. The smoke was sooo thick and smelly, but it was safe(created by vegetable oil) and I couldn't even see the person next to me. I felt slightly worried and uneasy at first when I knew I was FURTHEST away from the door, and also because I had night blindess, so I knew I will have a hard time of moving out of this smoke-filled room where visibility was clearly NONE, and we could only rely purely on our sense of touch to get out.
Even when we moved out of the smokey room, this is still what I saw
Which made we felt like i was in HEAVEN. LOL.
I truly salute the fire fighters and the Singapore Civil Defence people for risking their lives to ensure our safety. After going to the CDA and fire station, I truly feel how difficult their jobs are.

OHHH..
I have been ATTACKED by bed bugs lately, and I swear they are the MOST ANNOYING PESTS EVER. BECAUSE they r so flat and small and fast.. it's quite impossible to detect their presence and they suck your blood when you're sleeping. The bites turn into nasty little rashes and causes your skin to ITCH like nuts.
( Pls note that cluttered rooms is not the main cause of bedbugs, they are actually caused by the amount of carbon dioxide in a room or due to heat trapped in a place. Other reasons are due to old wooden furnitures.. )
However my room IS CLUTTERED, so I guess that is one of the reasons that may contribute to their presence. Ok thanks to them, I have been sleeping on the couch for several days to avoid getting bitten by them. I am getting a new bed. A METAL FRAME ONE. I am so gonna clear up my room!!!
Boys like girls came to Singapore recently for the Nike run event and the HMV autograph session. I went for the HMV session and NO I DID NOT BUY THEIR CD SO I COULD GET THEIR AUTOGRAPH.
Seriously I know nothing about them except the fact that they sang "The Great Escape". Well I just tagged along with my friend since she liked their music.
I was so close to them I COULD just hug them when they were leaving. BUT I didn't. Oh well, I would probably do that if it's MCR. TO GERARD WAY.
Sometimes I do wonder if I really need anger management therapy. I get irritated at the slightest bit of things, and this school semester really pushed me to the max. Well I just can't stand incompetent people so don't blame me for giving you the "WHY THE HELL are u so brainless" look. I have been bottling up all this anger inside me for too long now, and sometimes I know I should just let it all out instead of tolerating, but I guess next sem if I have to deal with this kind of shitty teammates, I will just CUSS in their face. Yes. TAKE THAT SUCKERS.
But I will be heading down to my french school like every Friday just to see EMMANUEL. LOL. This professor which I find very amusing. My friend and I were chatting in the alley and according to my friend, he threw a ball at our direction but as usual I AM very cock-eye so I did not take note of it. Apparently he knew I did not know what happen as I was too engrossed talking to my friend.. and he came towards me and tap me on the shoulder and said BONJOUR in this very chirpy voice. LOl Ok maybe chirpy is not the right word. I was taken aback but I still said Bonjour back. LOL, then he look over to my friend and said Bonjour. LOL.
A while later, he came back again and this time came to my friend first and shook her hand and said BONJOUR, and did the same to me. After doing that, he went back to his class and stood outside the classroom and went BONJOUR super loud, and no one responded and he was like "Ok no one reply to me, never mind" and commence with his lesson. LOL. I said AU REVOIR really loud when he was closing the door. HAHA. WHAT AN AMUSING TEACHER.
I would be super happy if he teaches us for the next lesson.
First one I gonna comment on is LA VIE EN ROSE, a french biography about the oh so talented Edith Piaf. Ok after I watched the show then I knew that Piaf was actually a made up name, it means 'sparrow' in french.
MY GOD they really make the actress really ugly. Ok I know this is really offensive to Madam Piaf. But it's a fact she's not exactly pretty.
SO I GUESS that's why she won the best female performance(OSCARS) this year?
Ok overall, I rate this 3/5 stars. People who don't intend to know more about Edith Piaf . JUST DON'T BOTHER TO WATCH IT. SERIOUSLY. I watch it cause I love her voice and j'aime francais(I love french).
NEXT I will review on Blood Diamond.
I enjoyed watching BLOOD DIAMOND because firstly it's a true story. Secondly, it's an action-packed movie. Lastly, there's LEONARDO DICAPRIO in it. Well not exactly an appropriate reason for why you should catch it, but for the girls you know he's cute so that's a good enough reason for me to watch.
Ok seriously, this film refers to blood diamonds, which are diamonds mined in African war zones and sold to finance the conflicts and profit the warlords and the diamond companies across the world ,and how the innocent Africans are being exploited.
This film really change the way on how I would look at diamonds again. Will we be able to stop the demand for them if we stop buying diamond products? Will the conflict diamond issue ever stop?
Overall rating : 4/5 stars
LASTLY...'MAD ABOUT ENGLISH' the documentary
ERM. If you have been heading down to Mc Donalds rather often, you will definitely know this movie which pokes fun of mainland China's english. You know how their signboards always have some grammatical errors, or I should say MOST OF the signs have problems, and their menu. OMG THAT WAS THE SCENE THAT CRACKED ME UP. There was this dish called " Human flesh for a short time" , I bet foreigners will be so freaked out by that.
So this film basically is about how the China people prepared themselves for the Beijing Olympic events.. picking up English lessons..etc.
The intensive camp was too hardcore I must say. Ok i should stop saying about it. TOO MUCH SPOILERS.

So basically Ugly betty Season 2 decided to end with BETTY HAVING TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE 2 OF THEM. ONCE AGAIN they didn't show who she chose. WHICH WAS DAMN ANNOYING, the suspense is KILLING ME. Personally if I was BETTY, I would choose GIO.
