CAMBODIA!!
Yeah.. most people especially us asians would not really think of Cambodia as a country you would exactly desire to go to, mainly because
A) it's a developing country
B) there isn't much place u can really shop at
C) it is perceived to be a dangerous country since there is still like 3 millions mines found all over the country.
Well I have to admit, that I was really looking for a shopping trip, and was really disappointed when I knew I couldn't go to Bangkok anymore due to the political riots. I was also very worried that I will have a major problem conversing with the locals since they speak Khmer,and the older locals know french. Most of them DO NOT know English but u do need to worry if u are around the tourist-y areas cause they will know basic english.
So much nicer than I expected.
Ok i really did expected Siem Reap Airport to be rather crappy since it's Cambodia, and I have to say it's much better than some airports. HINT HINT the country near us.

They had this extra sink and frankly I don't really know the purpose for it, but hey for 4 persons living in one room, it definitely saves the time for us to wash up.
And yes, this is a CAMBODIA hotel. 3 star hotel. Just imagine a 5 star hotel. WOAH.
I just immediately thought of our local tv station, MEDIACORPS.
And that is the lighting from a "restaurant" I ate at.
Tons of bugs going SMASHED on my plate. I bet I ate a couple since they keep landing on my rice.
I seriously regret not buying those TINTIN stuff now. SERIOUSLY. It was all in french.
DAMN IT.
I think the hot-air ballon ride for 15 mins or 30 mins is USD$150. Yes.
EXPENSIVEEEEE.
The moat they dug out to keep the enemies out. Pretty amazing how they managed to do that without the technology in the past.
The elephant was so close to me I was worried that it will just whack me or stomp me with its weight.
It's amazing how the elephants are not afraid or irritated by the tuk tuks.
Guess they are used to it.

So i guess they are kinda blown away by the Samsung plasma tvs, it's a luxury to them after all.
