New Year's Resolution never really worked for me since I never really stay true to the them.. sadly no matter how hard I try, I tend to forgot all about the resolutions I made.

Resolutions Pictures, Images and Photos

Everyone has different resolutions, and mine is always about the same every year

Oh well here's my list of resolutions
1. Try to stay happy even though life truly sucks sometimes.
2. Learn to be more patient even though there are lots of fucktards out there lately.
3. Treat lecturers with respect ( stop shoving them around and pissing them off)
4. Speak and write more French more often ( I WILL MASTER THE LANGUAGE!!)
5. Find a part-time job ASAP
6. READ MORE BOOKS
7. HUG CHRIS GARVER ( actually I think that is highly achieveable if there is a close-up meet and greet session)
8.LOSE WEIGHT! ( no milk tea + no fried food)

Going GAGA over Lady GAGA
5:54 AM

I am currently obsessed with Lady GaGa's songs.
She's 21 this year, and I must say she is really talented, I like her style and attitude

Remember many people said that Christina Aguilera's MTV EUROPE performance was an imitation of Lady GaGa's look

( judge for yourself. I don't think she was imitating Lady GaGa's look at all, Lady GaGa's look is very common and Christina and her cannot be compared. Christina has been in the music industry for far too long and from the video you can tell she was going for the SUPERHERO/VILLAIN look )

Some of her popular music videos

'JUST DANCE'

'Poker Face' ( I think she looked real hot in the beginning of the video)

Pardon the title if u are offended by it.

MERRY X'MAS anyway

I guess you guys are sick of typical Christmas songs, so here's a few special Christmas songs for u

Ok the video below.. take note of the lyrics, it's a very sexual rendition of a Christmas song.

* erm "my christmas tree is delicious"* , sounding a little too suggestive isn't it?

Santa looks scary here. LOL.

OH GOD, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO TOMMOROW? I am typing this entry at 4.19a.m by the way. SERIOUS INSOMNIA. HOLY CRAP.

Le sigh.
11:42 PM
Isn't class gatherings supposed to be a day where everyone can sit together and bond, and just chat about what they are doing currently; in other words, supposingly to have FUN?

I was the one who suggested we all should meet up since it's been 2 years since we met. Anything, anywhere will do for me, even if it means having lunch/dinner at compass point. Ok then C decided to email all the high school girls we knew and organize a get-together.

Emails were forwarded/cc-ed to each other, to let each other know what restaurant we would be fine with. No approximate meeting time was stated in the email, and all I got was a sms from K. Ok K told me to reach the restaurant @ 6pm, and I reached town early and decided to call C to find out their whereabouts, only knowing they are at COFFEE CLUB. Ok quite frankly I was rather appalled hearing that since I thought we were supposed to dine at the place we decided on. If they intended to eat something light before meeting us, I would have felt perfectly all right with that. Thing is they were having like MAIN COURSES meaning they do not intend to eat at the actual place we wanted, and i was wondering so " Are we gonna be stared at like some freaks in the circus while we eat" ?? Ok NVM, I thought to myself, if they just get a drink and take the initiative to chat and have a good time, it's will be fine, still tolerable. But what? They said they will be late and only come and meet us after they are done without letting us know the time they will reach. 3 of us waited for one and a half hour till they came, and the awkwardness started to fill the place. I felt a dozens of eyes staring at us, and no one wanted to sit down. I could probably cut the tension with a knife at that point. No one wanted to start a conversation, and I guess me n K had to start breaking the ice and just chat about any random topic, and I did, sounding rather awkward and asking about school( which completely made me sound like a geek) but then again I am rather geeky I admit.

Most of the time I had to start asking completely random questions to ease the awakwardness. It was a christmas gathering and just about 30-40mins of chatting ( or should i even consider that as chatting) most of u all left. All of us set aside time for a proper get-together and within one hour u all had to leave. Quite frankly I don't know what happened and felt really dissappointed in you guys.

It's time to grow up you guys. You guys are already 2o this year. I may sound like a complete bitch saying this, but hey in reality if you don't change this attitude and become more mature, no one will want to hire you.

PERFECTIONIST
10:17 AM
Is it wrong that one desires to be a perfectionist?
Why does everyone does not seem to be satisified with what they get/have and expects more?

A Pictures, Images and Photos
I admit I am a perfectionist, or at least I try to be one.
Sometimes I wonder why do I have to do this to myself, stressing myself out in order to BE PERFECT.
perfectionist Pictures, Images and Photos
Kinda reminds me of the song " Can't get no satisfaction", but applied to my situation where no matter what I do I will never be satisfied. It is never good enough for me and I will only expect more from myself.

Maybe it's because no matter what I do, I do not get credit for it. Even when I got first place for a particular subject in the entire cohort, all I got was a insincere comment of " Oh girl, good job, keep it up" and fullstop. I wish I could sense the sincerity there but I just didn't. Parents who do not give their children enough praises should be sent to parenting school, I swear. They have completely no idea how important that plays a part in their lives, it's a source of encouragement which will really boost their confidence in achieving the targetted grade and they just think " NAH, I am not gonna do that, it sounds so embarassing, I'm not gonna embarass myself"

I have been pushing myself too hard again lately, panicking about deadlines and incompetent team-mates. I think I do deserve the pat on the shoulder for what I do, I put in effort but then people tend to take advantage of that and expects me to do the majority of the work and just be a free-loader. It's like " Let's hop on this train and let this dumb bitch do all the work, we're gonna get As anyway since she wants this so bad"

It's sad how scheming these people are. It's a SAD SAD WORLD, when everyone start to backstab each other. Conniving people everywhere, and all because of getting a good GPA.

Is this what our society has done to us, when they play too much emphasis on academics?

(leave me a comment on my tagboard, I wanna know how you guys feel about it)

Numa Numa
7:32 AM
As I was doing my projects, I got distracted and started watching the many versions of the original DRAGONSTEA DIN TEI song AKA the "NUMA NUMA" song.

the original song

the afrikaans language version

the brazillan portuguese language( I didn't know which is the real video, so i just use the version with MARILYN MANSON IN IT( SINCE IT LOOK OH SO FREAKING FUNNY with this song in it), PLS NOTE THIS IS NOT THE REAL VIDEO)

the chinese version ( which KEPT PLAYING IN SINGAPORE for a long period of time, the song that really got to my head and a major annoyance since I don't get what the song is trying to convey ; mice love rice, i see cockroach and I am no longer afraid.. Ok u may not get what I am saying but I am translating the lyrics from chinese to english, and that is seriously what they meant.

and ANOTHER chinese version by the cute twins of 2more from Taiwan ( I don't really get the meaning of their version, since shabu shabu is a food, I don't get how you can sing about food and romance together. one word. Weird. )

and then you have the cambodian one ( IN KHMER language; not the real mtv too, I FIND THIS VERSION VERY AMUSING, it sounds very mushy to me )

CALLING U BUT NOBODY ANSWERRR... NOBODY ANSWERRR.
LOL ( BY FAR THE FUNNIEST VERSION)

the finnish language

KU MI KU MI MI.. LOL

the hungarian version

The indonesian version

the japanese version

the korean version

the thai version

the vietnamese version

n of course the 2008 version done by Rhianna "Live your life"

OK I FOUND A PARODY VIDEO ABOUT MIKA

Quite frankly I do not care if he is really gay or not, I think he is extremely lovable and I like a person who is comfortable with his sexuality.
LOL. I love geeks like mika.

SG INK
2:59 AM
Well fans of the show "MIAMI INK" prepare to be psyched because CHRIS GARVER is coming for the Singapore Tattoo Convention show on 9-11 Jan 2009.

Ok here's a brief profile of him ~~

"Chris Garver (born September 11, 1970) is a tattoo artist featured on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink.

Garver was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he attended The Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. He is the youngest of three brothers. Garver's mother was an artist and encouraged his interest in painting and drawing. He first experimented with tattooing at age 17, after selling his bass guitar in order to purchase tattoo equipment. Garver took one year of art school and apprenticed for six months, repairing old tattoos that needed touch-ups, before he started tattooing clients on his own[2]. In his early twenties, Garver moved to New York City where he became a full-time professional tattoo artist."

Like meeting CHRIS GARVER was not AWESOME ENOUGH, they are gonna have this..
"Firstly, all valid ticket holders to the 1st Singapore Tattoo Show 2009 stand a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime tattoo from Chris Garver, the shows ambassador and tattoo artist in the popular reality TV series Miami Ink. Ticket holders to the Singapore Tattoo Show who are interested to participate in the contest are required to submit a 150 - 200 word entry on why they should deserve to win a tattoo from Chris Garver. All entries have to be submitted to admin@tattoo.com.sg by the closing date, 25 December 2008. Only 1 entry is allowed per ticket holder."

I AM ALREADY FEELING SUPER PSYCHED UP FOR THIS EVENT, less than a month to meeting CHRIS GARVER. I have 7 days left to send my email for why they should choose me to be INKED. LOL. Of course if I win, I will not tell my mum and dad about getting tattooed by him, they will probably KILL ME. But then again, GETTING INKED BY CHRIS GARVER... OF COURSE I WILL BE MORE THAN HONOURED TO BE INKED BY HIM. LOL.

What will u be doing for CHRISTMAS?
Spending the holiday in your country or going overseas?
Santa Claus Pictures, Images and Photos
As usual, I will be spending my Christmas in my hometown of SINGAPORE.

Pretty much the same every year I must say, I hate to be such a damper, but it's true; raining raining raining.

Ok now I am down with only 2 papers, the first 2 paper is easy I shall say since I studied real hard for it, but tommorow's and friday's paper I have not much confidence and I doubt I can get an A or even a B+ for it.

Once exams are over, I will blog more often. I SWEAR.
