Well fans of the show "MIAMI INK" prepare to be psyched because CHRIS GARVER is coming for the Singapore Tattoo Convention show on 9-11 Jan 2009.Ok here's a brief profile of him ~~
"Chris Garver (born September 11, 1970) is a tattoo artist featured on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink.
Garver was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he attended The Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. He is the youngest of three brothers. Garver's mother was an artist and encouraged his interest in painting and drawing. He first experimented with tattooing at age 17, after selling his bass guitar in order to purchase tattoo equipment. Garver took one year of art school and apprenticed for six months, repairing old tattoos that needed touch-ups, before he started tattooing clients on his own[2]. In his early twenties, Garver moved to New York City where he became a full-time professional tattoo artist."
Like meeting CHRIS GARVER was not AWESOME ENOUGH, they are gonna have this..
"Firstly, all valid ticket holders to the 1st Singapore Tattoo Show 2009 stand a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime tattoo from Chris Garver, the shows ambassador and tattoo artist in the popular reality TV series Miami Ink. Ticket holders to the Singapore Tattoo Show who are interested to participate in the contest are required to submit a 150 - 200 word entry on why they should deserve to win a tattoo from Chris Garver. All entries have to be submitted to admin@tattoo.com.sg by the closing date, 25 December 2008. Only 1 entry is allowed per ticket holder."
I AM ALREADY FEELING SUPER PSYCHED UP FOR THIS EVENT, less than a month to meeting CHRIS GARVER. I have 7 days left to send my email for why they should choose me to be INKED. LOL. Of course if I win, I will not tell my mum and dad about getting tattooed by him, they will probably KILL ME. But then again, GETTING INKED BY CHRIS GARVER... OF COURSE I WILL BE MORE THAN HONOURED TO BE INKED BY HIM. LOL.
